Dr. Sara Fox Chapman graduated from Ohio State University College of Veterinary Medicine in 1985, and became uneasy with the unintended effects that she saw from many common conventional veterinary practices. Her family relocated to the UK from 1998 – 2001, and that gave her the opportunity to complete the three year homeopathic education program of the Homeopathic Practitioners Teaching Group in Oxford.

She was elected a Member of the Faculty of Homeopathy upon successfully sitting her certification exam. After her return to the US, she began her homeopathic small animal practice within a conventional practice, the Animal Medical Center of Watkins Park, that is open to holistic modalities.

Dr. Chapman lives outside Washington DC with her husband, their Bernese Mountain Dogs, and Rex kitty. The Chapmans enjoy traveling to visit their adult sons, for homeopathy conferences abroad, and for nature and birding trips. Dr. Chapman is active with the British Ass’n of Homeopathic Veterinary Surgeons, the Academy of Veterinary Homeopathy (US / Canada), and is the Treasurer and the US / Canada Representative for the International Ass’n for Veterinary Homeopathy.
